I wrote my first production code as a high-school intern at OnSolve (formerly MIR3), building a Java CLI against their Intelligent Notification SOAP API — the same reference code their technical partner used to learn the platform. I was sixteen.
Since then I've designed SQL databases for regulated lab workflows at Bioduro-Sundia, written test scripts that cut post-release issues by 15%, and drafted GMP equipment protocols to standardize lab documentation. In parallel I've kept shipping — home networks, security systems, and smart-home installs across San Diego.
I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from San Diego State in May 2026, with coursework across software systems, algorithms, machine learning, UNIX administration, wireless networks, and applied security. I like the layer where operating systems, networking, and security meet — and I like making that layer invisible to the person using it.
Today my daily driver is Claude Code. I pair with it on everything from cross-compiling Linux kernels to scaffolding accessibility-clean React components to provisioning hardened nginx + TLS on AWS. The fundamentals from CS 480 (operating systems), CS 470 (UNIX), and CS 575 (network security) keep every agentic workflow honest — I read what the model writes, and I know when to overrule it.
